UnifiedBot's moderation module gives every mod team a consistent, logged way to handle rule-breaking without
juggling a separate mod-log bot. /warn, /timeout,
/kick, and /ban all require a reason, write to the
server's moderation log automatically, and are searchable per-user with /history
so staff can see a member's full record before deciding on an escalation. /purge
bulk-deletes messages with user and count filters for fast spam cleanup, and /untimeout
and /unban reverse an action just as quickly.
Pair moderation commands with the automod module - a configurable word filter, link and invite blocking, and spam detection that acts before a human has to step in. Free servers get a word filter of up to 10 entries; Pro servers unlock an unlimited filter, a raid shield that auto-locks the server during join spikes, and anti-phishing link scanning. Every automod and moderation action is written to the audit log described below, so nothing happens in your server without a paper trail.
The ticketing module replaces a dedicated support bot with button-based tickets that open a private thread
for each request. /setup_tickets creates the panel; members click a button to
open a ticket, and staff can route different categories - support, appeals, reports, partnerships - to
different roles with /create_category. Staff claim tickets with
/claim, leave internal notes with /add_note that
members never see, and close a ticket with a full HTML transcript saved automatically via
/transcript.
Inactive tickets auto-close after three days to keep the ticket list clean, and members have a seven-day
window to reopen one with /reopen if they need to follow up. Closed tickets
move to an archive category instead of vanishing, so there's always a record if a dispute needs review
later. Pro
servers get unlimited ticket categories instead of the free tier's default set.
Keep members engaged with message-based XP: every server gets a per-server leaderboard
(/xp-leaderboard), level-up notifications in a channel you choose, and a
personal progress check with /level. Admins configure XP channels and rates
from /leveling-setup, and Pro servers can attach XP boost roles that speed up
how fast specific members level.
The economy module layers a lightweight currency on top of activity: /daily
claims a daily reward, /balance checks a wallet and bank split, and
/pay sends coins between members. For servers that want a bit of risk,
/coinflip and /rob add gambling mechanics, and
/leaderboard ranks the richest members server-wide. Giveaways
(/giveaway create) and a starboard for highlighting popular messages round out
the engagement toolkit - Pro removes the limit on concurrently running giveaways.
Let members self-assign roles without a moderator lifting a finger. /reactionrole panel
builds an embed where clicking an emoji toggles a role on or off, with support for multiple roles per
message and raw event handling so it keeps working even on messages the bot hasn't cached. Combine that with
auto-roles that assign a default role automatically the moment a new member joins, so nobody lands in your
server without the right access from minute one. Pro servers get unlimited reaction role panels instead of
the free tier's default cap.
For servers that want manual self-serve roles instead of reaction panels, /selfrole
lets members grant or remove an allow-listed role on themselves directly, while /allow
and /disallow control which roles are eligible in the first place - useful for
pronoun roles, game tags, or notification opt-ins that shouldn't need a moderator's approval. A
/verification-panel button-based flow adds a lightweight gate before new
members get posting access at all, assigning a verified role only after they click through.
Every moderation action, message edit, message deletion, and member join or leave is written to a structured audit log you can review from the dashboard - no more piecing together what happened from scattered mod-log messages. Free servers keep a rolling history; Pro servers extend that to up to 100 entries and unlock private moderator notes attached directly to a member's profile, so staff can leave context ("previously warned for spam", "watch for alt accounts") that only other moderators can see.
Logging is what turns "something happened" into "here's exactly what happened, when, and to whom." When a message gets deleted mid-argument or a member's roles change unexpectedly, the audit log has the answer without anyone needing to remember or screenshot it in the moment. That same trail is what makes disputed bans defensible and helps a team catch a coordinated raid or spam wave early, before it spreads across channels - all viewable from the dashboard alongside every other module, instead of scrolling a wall of plain-text log messages in a channel.
First impressions matter for community retention. /welcome setup configures a
custom greeting embed posted in a channel of your choice whenever someone joins, and
/welcome dm sends a private welcome message alongside it. Preview exactly what
new members will see with /welcome test before it goes live, and combine
welcome messages with auto-roles so every new member starts with the right access and the right greeting
at the same time.
A good welcome message does more than say hello - it points people to the rules channel, explains how to
get roles, and sets the tone before anyone posts a single message. Servers running a verification flow
typically pair it with /welcome dm so new members get instructions privately
even if they haven't clicked through verification yet, and disable the public channel greeting with
/welcome disable if they'd rather keep joins low-key.
UnifiedBot keeps staff in sync with permission-aware dashboards and shared context, so every moderator knows exactly what happened and what is next.
We designed UnifiedBot for communities that cannot compromise on reliability. Async orchestration keeps actions snappy while protecting guild resources.
