UnifiedBot terms

Terms of Service written by the builder of UnifiedBot

UnifiedBot exists to help serious Discord communities stay organized. These Terms explain how I expect you and your team to use the bot, the dashboard, and any services I provide around them.

Last updated: November 6, 2025

Eligibility

Using UnifiedBot

You need a Discord account in good standing and permission to manage the guilds you connect. By using the bot you confirm you are at least 16 or meet your local age of digital consent.

Your responsibilities

Stay within Discord policy

You may only use the bot for lawful purposes and you must follow Discord's Terms, community guidelines, and API policies. I reserve the right to suspend access if Discord flags your server or account.

Acceptable use

Bot availability

I aim for a highly available service but I cannot guarantee 24/7 uptime. Maintenance windows, Discord outages, or upstream providers can interrupt service. I will communicate major incidents in the support server or status page.

Configuration & data

You retain ownership of the settings and content generated by your community. I store only what is needed to run the modules you turn on, as described in the Privacy Policy. Backups exist for disaster recovery and follow the same safeguards.

Payments

UnifiedBot is currently free to use. If I introduce paid tiers or sponsorships in the future I will publish fresh terms, pricing, and refund rules before charging anyone.

Feedback & suggestions

If you share an idea or send pull requests you agree that I can use that feedback to improve the project without any obligation to compensate you.

Suspension & termination

I may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, breach Discord's rules, or put the service or other communities at risk. In urgent abuse scenarios I will act first and explain after. For non-urgent matters I will give you time to appeal.

You can stop using UnifiedBot at any time by removing it from your guilds and deleting your dashboard tokens.

Updates to these Terms

I will update the version date at the top whenever these Terms change. Continued use after an update means you accept the new wording. For major changes I will announce them in the support server and changelog.

Questions or issues?

Email me at support@unifiedbot.net or post in the UnifiedBot support server. I am happy to clarify how the bot works before you rely on it.

When necessary I may ask you to verify that you own the guild before discussing specifics.
